Microsoft .NET Framework

Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 or .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 must be installed on your machine in order to run STARLIMS. .NET is the Microsoft Web services strategy to connect information, people, systems, and devices through software. Integrated across the Microsoft platform, .NET technology provides the ability to securely interconnect the STARLIMS client component with STARLIMS Web services.

Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable package (x86)

The Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86) is required by the STARLIMS XFD Debugger. If this computer will be used for STARLIMS development and debugging, we recommend that you install this package.
